Gotts’ Landing, located in Mio, Michigan near the banks of the famous Au Sable River, has a long history of providing canoe, kayak and tubing adventures.

Founded over thirty years ago Gotts’ Landing has a long tradition of being family owned and operated, and is one of the most established liveries in Michigan.  We provide many trip lengths for all skill levels, beginning with the popular 2 ½ hour float to Comins Flats, east of Mio.

We also offer extended trips farther down river, all the way to Lake Huron if you’re so inclined.  Or start your trip in Grayling or Roscommon, where the River is smaller, and paddle to Mio.  The current flows at a leisurely 3 to 5 miles per hour and in most areas is between 18 to 36 inches in depth.

Gotts’ Landing has plenty of parking, so stop in and see us.  We’ll fix you up with the canoe, kayak, or tube of your choice.  As you paddle down the river, take your time and look around – you might see deer having a drink by the water’s edge,  or maybe even a bald eagle.  Then, when your trip is over, one of our friendly drivers will be waiting to transport you back to Mio.
